"I am a primary school teacher turned candle painter. Just over three years ago I shared a photograph on Instagram of a single candle that I painted, and before I knew it, I was getting so many messages from people asking if they could purchase my candles. I couldn’t believe it! Since then, I have gone onto quit my job, paint 1000’s of candles that have been sent all around the world and host candle painting workshops for all types of celebrations and brand events. "
FAVOURITE TAPERED CANDLE FROM CANDLE FLAIR?
Oohhhh my most popular candle that I use is the 25cm ivory dinner candle but, I have to say that I think my most favourite dinner candle the 35cm pale yellow.
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO INTEGRATE CANDLES INTO YOUR HOME?
I always have candles on display, I love having a cluster above the fireplace or on a counter In the kitchen. They are the best colour pops!
THREE FAVOURITE INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS FOR DESIGN INSPIRATION?
Your biggest achievement to date?
My personal biggest achievement is the creation of the Bable Box, an at home candle painting kit. Branding, packaging, and distribution is a hard formula to crack! Plus, it is always such an incredible learning curve creating products.
TABLESCAPING DO'S AND DON'TS?
A top tip would be, to always have the candles above the flowers and not at the same level. It frames the candles better.
2024 candle trends you are loving?
I don't know If this Is really a trend…but I love that people are lighting their candles and not saving them for best/special occasions.Life Is short, light the candle!
Tablescaping do's and dont’s?
Make things yourself using things that you already have, you do not always need to buy new. Get crafty! draw on big sheets of paper for tablecloths, tie ribbons on tableware, use jars as vases and snip flowers from your garden for the table.
Top tips for hosting guests?
Preparation Is key. On the day of hosting, you do not want to be running around like a crazy person trying to get everything done.Your guests will want you to be calm and enjoy the moment. Also, a big top tip would be to have a game to hand, who doesn’t love aboard game at the end of an evening.

What's next for Bable?
Personally, I am working on balance. I need to scale the business and not have It so dependent on me.
